[there's no reply, but raven is sitting patiently in a chair in the lobby. there's a nasty-looking cut across his temple, with about half his face covered in blood. a haphazard bandage is slapped over it to staunch the bleeding.
[closes his eyes while he does that, breathing out a sigh of relief. as injuries go it's not nearly as bad as it could have been, but it still hurt like hell]
Riding in a car. The driver was... going quite fast, and we had to turn around quickly. And... I wasn't wearing a seat belt.
Not so much him, as... me. Even if I am a separate person, I can't think of myself as being so different from him. His existence... is my existence. Strictly speaking, we shouldn't both be able to be here at the same time. I was only given consciousness because of the split. Meaning, there must be some version of me inside him right now.
[quietly, almost to himself]
... how can you look at someone and say you only love half of them? It isn't possible...
Re: Day 239
raven himself mostly looks Very Tired]
Re: Day 239
Oh, seven hells. Can I help you with that?
Re: Day 239
Re: Day 239
[closing the distance between them and reaching to unwrap those bandages]
May I ask what happened?
Re: Day 239
I... hit my head on a windshield.
Re: Day 239
[unwrapping, unwrapping, and helpfully numbing him while he's at it.]

Re: Day 239
[softly, scolding, but he won't belabor the point.]
I am glad you were not hurt worse.
[starting to seal the wound.]
Re: Day 239
Re: Day 239
[finishes healing the wound, then uses the bandages to wipe up blood.]
Re: Day 239
I can take care of the rest.
Re: Day 239
Certainly you can.
[he agrees. but not stopping.]
Re: Day 239
... hm. Fine, then.
Re: Day 239
Re: Day 239
I... suppose I should also thank you for intervening the other day.

[softly.]
Re: Day 239
[runs a hand over his hair]
You know what I am in relation to Vergil, don't you? You were present when Dante told me.
Re: Day 239
Are you concerned about what Vergil is like, for Dante to react like that?
