... I don't remember much from my childhood. I don't even know the faces of my parents. Just stories of Sparda's legacy... and a fire that broke out when I was very young.

... of course, that was when I was still Vergil.

Mm... As I've told you, our world was split into shards. This was long before my time, but I have experience with two: The Source and the First. I was born on the Source, and spend my early years there, but eventually I travelled to the First, and spent over a century there since.
